the impetus for creating the "BEAUTY NO ONE WILL EVER SEE," series of landscapes, this piece was completed during a stay at an addictions rehab program following the most recent stay at a psychiatric hospital, really accidentally, or while experimenting with some materials given to me by a nice nurse who worked there; it inspired me to begin to imagine what the surface of the Earth might look like if there were no men (or women) on it.. leaving aside all scientific theory concerning the actual age of the earth, the probability of our eventual extinction, or any political statement anybody might want to pursue about anything environmental, we simply liked what happened
